Does anyone know what they call a certain baby product read additional details below?
I have been looking for a carrier that you can carry your baby in around the house and sit the baby in this carrier on the table while your eating so that you can talk to them. Problem is everytime I do a search I keep getting hits for car seats. Actually if anyone has ever saw “Look who’s Talking” the first one, the child Mikey was in one on the kitchen table. I’m desperatly looking to find out what they call this carrier/seat.

a table top bassinet. or a cuddle. i dont know if you have a babies r us where you live but they have them or you can go one the web site and order it. i had one for my daughter. if your talking about what I’m talking about it’s like a little bed that they lay in and you can take it from place to place. or there’s these things called a bobber (i think that’s the name) for kids who are a tad bit older but still can not sit up yet and you can place them in the seat and carry it around. I also have one of those i got mines from wal mart. check wal mart target or babies r us.
Moses Basket. It’s very handy. My daughter has the Wendy Bellisimo honey bee one. I love it!
I’ve heard them called “pumpkin seats” but they aren’t really made anymore and you shouldn’t put them up on a table in any case.
They were actually around before carseats and have basically been replaced by carseats, bouncers, and swings -more recently by bumbo

My sister had one like you are talking about, its like a lightweight carseat.
They now make reclining highchairs -which while not useful in the “well they can sit in this highchair ergo they can eat baby food” it can get them up to table height. There are a few portable ones (no legs). They may tell you that you need to sign in. You scroll down to the view patent image and I believe this is the one that you are looking for. I don’t think you can find them anymore. It was patented back in 1980 and probably wasn’t released for product until 1981.
I will continue to look for something that may help.
