Huggies are by far the greatest diapers ever!
Gerber Baby food is really good.
Platex Bottles are wonderful!
Aveeno (for me) is the best skin care. I use it on me as well as my baby.

You have to figure a lot of these things out by what is best for your baby. If you have a long skinny baby then Pampers Swaddlers/Cruisers usually work best, but if you have a chubby baby Huggies seem to work better.
We used Gerber babyfood. We also made some of our own.
Breastfeeding is the cheapest way to go as far as milk goes. If you don’t want to breastfeed, then you’ll have to go thru different types of formula until you find one that is right. If I were you I would do whatever I could to avoid soy formula. I don’t like things that I’ve read about things that go on with kids who were fed soy formula as babies.
The only skin care we had to use was Johnson’s Head to Toe body wash. He also got a little night time lotion from johnson’s before bed.
The only bottles we could use were the Evenflo Comfi. We now use Nuby sippy cups. I just used a regular spoon to feed him.
Good luck with your move and congratulations on your baby!!!
breast pumps. pacifiers and bottles I use are all avent. I love them. I also use Huggies diapers. I just personally like them. Aveeno baby lotioins and stuff is great. So is Johnson and Johnson products.
After trying almost everything, these are my favorites:
1. Pampers baby dry diapers.
2. Dr. Brown’s Bottles.
3. The Walmart equivalent of Similac Advance Milk-Based formula with Iron.
4. Aveeno babywash/shampoo
5. Aveeno baby moisturizing lotion.
6. Gerber babyfood.
7. Desitin Creamy diaper cream.
“Best” ~ will depend on your baby & your preference…
Here’s what I use…
Diapers- Parents Choice (Walmart Brand)~ it’s inexpensive & it works for my baby:)
Baby food- Gerber & Beechnut
Skin Care- I started out using Johnsons but I now find Walmart generic brands to work just as well.
Bottles- Avent
Formula- Similac (WIC program)
There are tons of stores in Maryland for babies, you can find a lot of those products at Grocery stores as well.. but they have Babys R Us and Toys R Us as well as the regular old WalMart and Target stores.
American diapers are all fairly similar, but the price varies. I like LUVs because they are inexpensive but HUGGIES are usually the best brand for infants.
Breast is best for babies and America fully supports breastfeeding mothers! If you choose to use formula Enfamil is closest to breastmilk.
Beechnut brand baby foods are good and we have a great selection of organic baby foods as well. The grocery store WEGMANS has an entire isle of organic baby products including diapers, wipes, food and formula.
Johnson and Johnson is the most popular skin care brand for infants.
Otherwise just go shopping at Babys R Us or Target and pick up all the gear you need!
do not get the playtex vent air bottles. i made that mistake, and they didnt work. also dont buy many newborn diapers becuase your baby may be too big from birth. my baby fit into the size 1s right away ( she was 9 pounds)
Definately hit up the local box stores walmart target etc. Wouldn’t hurt to buy trial sizes of the different baby products on the market since you can never really tell ahead of time what baby will be sensitive too. My son’s skin was so sensitive that I wasted quite a bit of money buying the regular size wash, lotion wipes etc and he’d be breaking out in a rash from them.
Pamper’s sensitive wipes
swaddler/cruiser diapers
aveeno baby wash/shampoo
Aquifor for diaper rash(made by eucerin)
Good luck and I hope your move is easy and uneventful!
