Regrettably, we never saw how well this protects children because my mother-in-law thought it was too ugly to be put on her nice table. Shallow, but true.

I purchased this item because I wanted good protection of our coffee table for our daughter — and because I knew that she would spend a lot of time probably chewing on it I wanted it to be PVC free. I selected this one even though it was pricy because the description said it was PVC-free. I was upset therefore when I received the item in the mail and read on the tag that it is made of 100% PVC material. What! I’ll return it for cheaper item.

the bumper is not for thin tables. it could use extra tape to keep it in place all around the tables. the corners have nice padding though.

I have a new walker, and this ugly thing absolutely prevented her soft little head from all manner of dings and divots.
It really is ugly as sin, and smells kind of like new vinyl sheet protectors for the first few days out of the box. That’s a plus for me though - reminds me of high school.
The elastic is strong, so I was able to really pull the bejesus out of it to make it fit on my very long coffee table. Then when I put my foot through the coffee table and replaced it with a smaller table, the elastic rebounded nicely.
Seriously though, it’s ugly.
But you know what’s pretty? My 11 month old kids perfectly round head.
